Lilas is the daughter of Rosa and Dino. She is a loyal Golden, very athletic and affectionate. She has a gentle temperament and is always eager to take part in everything. In June 2025, she proudly completed her Rally Novice title. We are finalizing her health tests, and she will be a wonderful addition to the future of our breeding program.

Our Retirees

2024-rosa005_edited.jpg

Rosa is the achievement of a wonderful pairing between Daniel and Vanille.

Rosa finished her conformation championship in the spring of 2022 and also earned her Canine Good Neighbour title. She completed her health screenings with successful exams, becoming the eighth generation of precious companions.

It is a privilege to live with her every day; she demonstrates an exemplary sweetness of temperament while possessing extraordinary athletic qualities. She is always ready to join us in a sporting challenge or simply accompany the children with such benevolence.

vanille2020-01_edited.jpg

De la Framboisiere ma Vanille, a great source of pride for us. Vanille is clearly a worthy representative of her breed. Extremely gentle with humans, a shooting star in nature, and faithful, energetic, and balanced at work.

Vanille quickly earned her conformation championship in less than two weekends in Canada.

A worthy daughter of Brise and Brit, she is well-structured and possesses fluid and agile movement.

Vanille successfully completed her health tests in December 2019. Now we can count on her to continue her lineage of health, temperament, and conformation worthy of the breed.

Vanille is my daughter Laurie's promised partner. She finds in her a faithful partner in sports as well as in moments of sweetness.

Rhino

A TRIBUTE TO RHINO | A LIVING TREASURE

Until the eve of your death
You followed in every walk
I was your security
You were my pride

You never mated with the females of the pack
Because of a slight dysplasia
But you always believed you were the dominant male
I always acted so you would think it was so
Preventing the younger males from subduing you
and thus forcing you to withdraw

I knew that in this way you would cling to life
And that is how you lived
The young females chose you
While the cleverer ones pushed you away
And the puppies worshipped you

You surely knew when a female was in heat
And you never stopped sniffing her scents
You galloped to follow her to the edges of the streams
Knowing that if you had trouble climbing back up
I would come to your rescue
I was your security

You welcomed with a wag of your tail
Anyone who showed up at the farm
You never showed any aggression
You were the living symbol of a harmonious, peaceful, and stable life

Your company was filled with gentleness and the joy of living
You were my pride
I didn't have to care for you often
You were robust and well-muscled

I knew, however, that your end would be swift
I knew because you were soon reaching your sixteenth year
Despite your age, you kept all your beauty and dignity
You were my pride

The eve of your death you were still galloping in the snowy trails
Through wind and cold, always determined to follow the pack

Once evening fell
I saw in your eyes how tired your body was
Too tired to go out before nightfall
That lets me know it was the end

I wrapped you in your blankets
And you didn't move anymore
Not even to welcome people to the stable

The next morning you wanted to get up
Too proud to wet your bed
But your legs could no longer carry you
You fell and for the first time I saw you resigned to not getting up again

I immediately put you back in your cozy bed
Every time you opened your eyes it was to see if I was near you
I was still your security
Reassured, you closed your eyes again

As time went on, I could no longer bear the thought
Of you leaving me while searching for me with your gaze
That is when I chose, for my own peace of mind, the moment of your departure
So that you could leave in complete safety

Since you are no longer here
At least since you no longer accompany us on our walks
I have truly realized how much pride and security are linked
To give birth to and develop a deep relationship
That lasts a lifetime and transforms a being into a true LIVING TREASURE.

Orly came into our lives like a gift from heaven. Lorraine had spoken with Diane Partington from Stoneleath Kennel, as she wanted to add a quality female to the breeding program for the future. Diane highly recommended Beverley Farquhar from Sunkozi Kennel.

In the spring of 1994, we welcomed Orly. I began my first experiences in competition with her. We won our very first Best in Show together, in Quebec City, when I was only 16 years old.

She was a golden mother to her puppies, and we had the privilege of growing alongside exceptional Goldens thanks to her. Thank you, ORLY.

3/20/1994 - 5/15/2002

Sissi the beauty:
Everyone who saw her was in admiration of the rare beauty that was Sissi. Everyone fell under her charm.

Sissi the affectionate:
This female with small "mischievous and charming" eyes knew how to make herself loved. What wouldn't she have done for cuddles! If we had the misfortune (or the happiness) to give her a stroke, well it was the beginning of a long friendship. As soon as we stopped the caresses, Madame Sissi would put her muzzle under our elbow, making it lift so our hand would go directly onto her back or head for tireless cuddles.

Sissi the gentle:
She was an obedient dog, she never strayed from us, listened intently, she was endowed with one of the gentlest characters, like a warm ray of sunshine on the skin.

Sissi the water dog:
She was tireless when it came to swimming in the lake. She could spend the entire afternoon in the lake fetching and bringing back the sticks we threw for her constantly.

Sissi in the woods:
When hiking in the summer, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, this beautiful blonde was always at the head of the pack; occasionally, she would scent a small hare or a small squirrel, but she would quickly come back to find us and inevitably take her first place in the line again.

Sissi and the apples:
Sissi, raised on the farm between the river and the mountains, had developed a very pronounced taste for apples and winter crabapples that she found here and there at the foot of the apple trees. Lorraine used to say that an apple a day was so good for a dog's health. Sissi and Lorraine shared a common passion: apples! Lorraine cooked them in crumbles and pies, and Sissi took a mischievous pleasure in biting into this beautiful red fruit!

Sissi the mother:
Since Sissi was so gentle, when she became a mother, all her beautiful qualities were there to benefit her puppies. She was present, gentle, and protective toward her offspring.

Sissi the queen of the pack:
Sissi enjoyed taking her throne when the youngsters got a little too playful. She would climb onto her chair to find some peace and monitor the decorum and order on her domain; she simply reigned. Sissi knew how to command respect with firmness when a new friend arrived at the farm. She knew how to explain quickly and firmly how to behave, always with Sissi's nobility. Everyone is unanimous in saying that Sissi, or Titti for her close friends, was an extraordinary dog and that we will keep a wonderful memory of this "Princess become Queen".

Go, my Sissi, and find your Rhino and your Lorraine with whom you shared such beautiful moments of freedom! Continue to protect your puppies who walk the land of the Panorama!

Johanne, Sergio, Emma, and Laurie
Sissi left us on September 20, 2011, at 9:20 PM.

A few years ago, Lorraine wrote for her beautiful Sissi:

How to speak of Sissi without forgetting anything about this unique and endearing dog. Sissi perfectly lives up to her name. She is more than a princess; she is and acts as an empress. Her languid gaze full of tenderness makes her irresistible. Who has not succumbed to her charm when coming to choose one of her puppies? Despite being the oldest now, already six years old, she is still the first to run in the fields and streams. She is very athletic and always tireless in following the tracks of small game or playing ball. She is the pack leader, and watch out for anyone who steals her rank. Sissi is the daughter of Orly, whom I bought from Beverley Farquhar in 1995. Orly was the image of her father, Homer. At six months, Orly won "Best of Breed" at the Bonaventure Hotel and did a Best in Show in Quebec City at two years old. It was the first time we had won such a trophy. It was my daughter Emmanuelle who handled her. Sissi later follows in her mother's footsteps. She won "Best Show Puppy" in October 2001 in Quebec City, again with Emmanuelle as handler. Since Sissi does not enjoy beauty contests much, we cut short her career and she becomes a good breeder and a companion dog par excellence. From her, we kept a female named "Orphée" who is already four years old and a young one-year-old male named "Zoo".

On April 8, 2014, our beautiful Orphée left us. First, I want to thank our friend Marie-Josée Crevier, with whom Orphée spent six wonderful years after Lorraine's passing. You were Orphée's BEACON!

Orphée was an exceptional dog; she had incomparable energy and a zest for life! Orphée, you left so quickly, you lived intensely; your memory and spirit will remain through your descendants.

Orphée is the mother of Inu, thus the grandmother of Zara, and the great-grandmother of all of Zara, AZ, and Nora’s puppies. Go now to Lorraine and your pack.

We all love you,
Yours xxxx

This spring morning, May 8, 2012…
For you, my beautiful Flora...

In our hearts that morning, you were carrying life; you were preparing to give birth to 7 wonderful puppies.
But your eyes were different from other mornings when I stood by you during those precious moments—those times when you brought life into the world with such gentleness. Your eyes seemed weary, and your body appeared hesitant.

I was filled with doubt, unable to fully grasp what was happening in your miraculous belly—the stage for so many beautiful creations.
So, hoping to help you, we took you to the vet. We believed a C-section would spare you from further exertion. Sadly, the anesthesia was too hard for your exhausted body. Your heart stopped, leaving us behind. The veterinarian, heavy with grief, called us to your side.

A reality far too difficult awaited us: we had to accept your departure, knowing you had given your life for the 7 wonders you carried. Despite your efforts, those tiny treasures could not survive the final hours of labor.

On that morning of May 8, 2012, we lost an extraordinary dog of boundless generosity, along with her 7 small ‘starlets.’
Shocked and saddened, friends wrote these words to keep your memory alive:

“You created your own galaxy with your seven marvelous flickers of starlight. Please, watch over us and our dogs from your magnificent sky. We will never forget you, Beautiful Flora.”
Kate

“I gave life, I was a source of hope. Now I rest with my 7 little angels. I know the pack will carry on my mission: to spread Peace, Gentleness, and Happiness.”
Emmanuelle

“I had the unexpected gift of sharing 9 months of closeness with Flora. She brightened every day with her constant good mood and her zest for life. It was a privilege and an honor, just as it is now to share the coming years with her son, BoumBoum. Kisses, my Angel.”
Georges

“We will never forget you, my first jogging partner, a comforting presence during tough times. Thank you, Flora, for being there.”
Marie-Noëlle

“Flora helped my children lose their fear of dogs. My daughter said Flora was just so gentle. RIP sweet Flora.”
Adèle and Andreane

“A wonderful dog was meant to give birth today, but life had other plans. She left us alongside her 7 beautiful puppies. Flora is Maila's mother and our Inu's sister. An amazing dog—we love you, Flora, and we miss you already.”
Elaine Roussel

“Beautiful Flora, though flowers may wither and fall, their precious fragrance remains. Like those vibrant blooms, you will forever be etched in our memories.”
Frédéric and Josée

“Your gaze, so tender, softened every heart and soul it met. Thank you, Flora, I love you...”
Brenda

Go now, run and play with your 7 wonders in the fields beyond.
Your memory lives on with us,
Your family

Inu means "dog" in Japanese; my grandson chose his name. Inu’s story is a true "love at first sight" tale. At just five weeks old, this little puppy already stood out from the rest of the litter. He was remarkably focused, heading straight for the toy to be retrieved without ever losing his concentration. In short, he was already focusing on the task at hand, and he remained just as steady and attentive throughout his life.

He stood 23 and a quarter inches high with a straight back and a very powerful front. Weighing 72 pounds, he possessed excellent bone structure and a thick, lush coat. His movement was free and light, his muzzle short, and his eyes and ears were perfectly set. But what truly captivated everyone was his effortless, proud, and supple movement—a graceful confidence that gave him a truly lively presence.

At six months old, he won the 6-9 month puppy class at the National Specialty in Fredericton in 2006. When we decided to show him again at 16 months, he took Best of Breed and Best of Winners in a single weekend. Finally, he earned Best of Opposite Sex in the sweepstakes at the 2007 National Specialty in Lachute.

Inu is now available as a stud, having successfully passed all his health clearances.

Inu left a lasting mark on our kennel, passing down his gentleness, balance, and elegance. Living alongside him was a true privilege. His daughter Zara and grandson Pk Subban honor him every day, demonstrating the same exceptional qualities he possessed.

Our friends Elaine Roussel and Yves Canuel gave him a wonderful life. Inu was the perfect partner for Yves, both in daily life and in sport. Elaine ensured he remained the leader of his pack until his very last moment, surrounded by the humans and dogs he loved so dearly.

Inu left us this past July 10th, at over 11 years old.

Laïla is a daughter of Ch Voyager Sunkozi Keep th’ Change from Sunkozi Kennels and Ch Edelweiss Double Your Bets from Edelweiss Kennels.

Laïla is lively and endearing. She has a remarkable work attitude, always ready to go above and beyond. Laïla is a true representative of her breed, both in temperament and conformation. She has a perfectly straight back, a wonderful head, and a striking expression.

In competition, beautiful little Laïla completed her conformation championship at the Hochelaga show in May 2010. She won the Best in Sweepstakes title at the Golden Retriever Club of Quebec's annual specialty, under judge Mrs. Glenda Newton. Following this victory, she went on to win the Best of Females title under judge Ricardo Saldana. We were very proud as she finished first out of 20 females.

Laïla is an avid runner and the best in our kennel at cani-cross, a discipline we discovered together. We hope to share many more beautiful runs with Laïla!

Zara is a daughter of Laïla, CH Edelweiss a la Framboise and Inu, CH de la Framboisiere Brave Inu. Quite a surprise on August 29, 2010, when Laïla gave birth to 11 beautiful babies—8 females and 3 males.

We couldn't resist Zara's charm. Beneath her sweet eyes and princess-like appearance, she hid an invaluable treasure. Living with Zara every day is a blessing. She has an extraordinary temperament: very loyal, gentle, and shows a wonderful working attitude.

Her favorite pastime is running like a flash through the woods with her mother. She is fast, lively, and playful—a true GOLDEN!

Zara gave us some wonderful moments in 2011. She finished her Canadian championship while still a puppy, with a third and fourth in group at the Société Canine Beauceronne show.

At the Club Canin du Bas St-Laurent show in May 2011, she won Best Puppy in Show in front of her whole family—we were so proud! Also in May 2011, at the Golden Retriever Club of Quebec specialty, despite her age, she won the Reserve Winners Bitch title and also won the Best Female in Sweeps title.

In June 2011, at the Royal Canin Classic, we won the Captain’s Title, awarded to the best breeder, handler, and owner of the 2011 classic—it was an unforgettable moment.

On her first outing to the United States, at the Green Mountain Golden Retriever Club specialty, shown by my daughter Laurie, they took first place in the 12 to 18-month-old female class. A fabulous team!

We believe and hope for great things from Bella Zara!

De la Framboisiere Bella Breza is the daughter of Bella Zara and Ramchaine Magnetic. It was a long-held dream of ours to breed Zara with a worthy representative of the Ramchaine line from the Netherlands.

Brise is a magnificent female, well-structured with fabulous pigmentation and a temperament of infinite sweetness. She much prefers life at home, playing with her Kong toys with her family, over participating in shows—though she remains very consistent in her presentations. Always willing and loyal, people quickly fall under her charm and gentle nature.

Brise spent a wonderful retirement from breeding with our friends Renée-Claude and Joël. She passed away in April. Here is their testimony:

Sweet Brise!

Brise was a gentle, kind, and incredibly affectionate dog. She gave kisses nonstop—hence her nickname, “Bizou”—and she always knew how to bring joy and comfort to those around her. Brise was an exceptional leader. She knew how to guide the other dogs and teach them their boundaries with calmness, firmness, and intelligence. She left us far too soon, but we hold onto many beautiful memories of her.

She left us a wonderful gift: her son, Beckham, whom we love deeply and who reminds us of her a little more each day. Her love, her gentleness, and the precious moments shared with her will remain in our hearts forever.

Renée-Claude, Joel, and Beckham XXX

The Trilogy dream is an unusual story. Life sometimes gives us the gift of meeting people who will always have a special place in our hearts—trustworthy people who become an integral part of our family.

My mother Lorraine had developed a long-standing friendship with Renée-Claude Thériault of Edelweiss Kennels and Marjorie Moore of Justmoor Kennels. When Lorraine passed away, Renée-Claude was a great support. She became my mentor in breeding and a deep personal friend. I also had the chance to get to know Marjorie better through our shared moments.

I wanted to bring these three great breeders together, which is why the Trilogy project was born. Marjorie, from Western Canada, had preserved the semen of her male Justmoor Believe in Me, who passed away in 2003. From Renée-Claude's last litter, I adopted Laïla. Laïla was then inseminated and had a single puppy: Trio. Thus, Trio united the lineages of de la Framboisière, Edelweiss, and Justmoor.

Trio was a singleton puppy, born healthy and vigorous. He enjoyed all the attention—he was the one and only! He was shown only twice and earned his Canadian championship. At the Chomedey Kennel Club competition in September 2012, he won Best Puppy in Show under judge Johan Becerra-Hernandez at just 6 months old. He then won a Group 3rd at the Bas St-Laurent Kennel Club show under judge Patricia Lanctot.

Trio was an extraordinary dog for us, with an exceptional temperament and unparalleled athletic qualities. In June 2018, he underwent emergency surgery following an obstruction. His recovery was very difficult, and his digestive system could not recover. On the advice of his veterinarians, we had to let Trio go. We wish to thank the team at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal in Saint-Hyacinthe for their dedicated care.

His everyday nickname is PK Subban, and he has a personality as flamboyant as the hockey player himself. PK loves being the star wherever he goes. He is surprisingly kind and gentle, and he adores the company of sweet and playful dogs, true to his breed. Always ready to work, he possesses very strong athletic qualities. He is a cani-cross champion, always leading and in control of his pack, with movement full of lightness.

PK started his competition career strong, winning Best Baby Puppy in Show in April 2014. Later, in September 2014 at the age of 9 months, he won Best Puppy in the Sporting Group. He continued his success in November 2014 with a Group 4th placement, despite being only 11 months old. He finished his championship with a Group 2nd when he was only 16 months old. He makes a fantastic team in competition with my daughter Laurie.

In June 2017, PK Subban returned to the competition ring. He won the title of Best in Specialty at the Club du Golden Retriever du Québec regional specialty, judged by Mrs. Lanctot.

Pompom, Little Thunder!
Quick as lightning and energetic as they come, Pompom is quite the character. She is the perfect portrait of a Golden who loves to play, participate, hunt, run, and accompany. In short, Pompom is not for everyone; for her, real life happens OUTDOORS!

She comes from the Justmoor kennel. My friend Marjorie Moore lives with Laila, Pompom's mother. She chose the most mischievous one in the litter for me, and she was right!

Highly confident, Pompom began by winning Best Baby Puppy in Show in the fall of 2015. The family adores her, and Clémence is her biggest fan!

Later, in the spring of 2016, my daughter Laurie showed her, and together they won Best Puppy in Show.

In the summer of 2016, she earned the title of Best Female at the Golden Retriever Club of Quebec regional specialty. In the fall of 2016, we travelled to the Golden Retriever Club of Canada National Specialty in Ontario, where she won the title of Reserve Winners Bitch at the National.

Pompom has incredible health, a classic Golden temperament, and great athletic strength.

Pompom was entrusted to Mathieu and Kevin upon her retirement from breeding, and she passed away in August 2024 . Here is their testimony:

Pompom, the dog of a lifetime.

She was loving, incredibly affectionate, and of a rare gentleness. She had a look in her eyes that melted the hearts of everyone who crossed her path. It only took a moment with her to understand how special she was.

To us, PomPom was much more than a pet. She was a member of the family, a reassuring presence, and our greatest source of comfort.

Those seven years by her side were an immense privilege. One does not often encounter such an extraordinary animal in a lifetime.

Thank you to Élevage De La Framboisière for allowing us to live this beautiful story with her.

Thank you, Pom, for all the happiness you brought into our lives. You will remain forever in our hearts.

Mathieu and Kevin

Olena was a young Golden Retriever who embodied all the best traits of the breed. She was present, lively, affectionate, and very athletic. She had such a gentle nature; for Clémence and me, she represented the future of our breeding program.

On the night of February 8, 2023, a fire broke out in the stable. We tried everything to save her. Three of the four dogs were resuscitated, but Olena had already passed away.

She will be with us forever, always in our hearts.
